What a breathtaking location! Nestled in a hilly area, the guest house offers panoramic views of the city. The room was impeccable, with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and great attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and served in a cozy ambiance. The hosts were kind and helpful, adding to our memorable stay.

The guest house had some challenges with the intercom system that caused some inconvenience during check-in.

Breakfast was very good and views across the city was lovely . Room design and style was luxury .

There was no luggage assistance / porters to help carry bags to rooms which are located away from the main residence . Hot water was a problem too as it suddenly goes freezing cold during a shower .

We were particulary happy with the comfort, privacy and location. We were met by very friendly and extremely accommodating staff. It gives the feel of home and being on a business trip helps make you feel less homesick! We will definately go back! Very good price for exeptional quality. Thank you.

Situated on a hill, lovely views and breezes. Beautiful, well-maintained property. Friendly staff and very clean. Interesting and delicious breakfast. Well behaved and loving dogs for security. Peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.

It was very uique with very interesting modern touches in the rooms. The view of Johannesburg was great and I enjoyed the experience.

No internet in the rooms even as the advertisement said there was. Only had basic TV and I had to go to the lounge to watch the PGA gorl tournament. The modern sinks in the room was too shallow, The lighting in the bath room ws not great and I had to use a tea cup that was designed for right hand people only. (interesting cup).

Fabulous experience. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Tons of small touches that really communicate that your comfort (and business) is important. Staff/owners couldn't be nicer: friendly, courteous, and professional. What makes 12 on Hillel even more special (aside from the beautiful grounds) is that the guest rooms are separate from the main house. Breakfast is always fun meeting newcomers and sharing stores. If you're expecting excellent value for money, classy rooms and surroudings (all very secure), this is for you. Don't wait, book now.

I had a great time at this hotel, The location in a quiet posh area on the hills overlooking this city was perfect for me. The hotel facilities were great, with a beautiful pool and very clean rooms. The breakfast was also delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the ample parking available within the hotel premises.

Everything was nice. Phia is so sweet. In the morning we met a nice old lady and another gentlemen. They have the best place ever. Their place is clean, elegant and Perfect romantic setting. Their service is the best. We loved it

When ever, a booking is made over the internet, one some times has to doubt if they made the right choice. Once we arrived at 12 on Hillel, they were warm and very welcoming. The rooms were big and spacious and it kept up to my exceptations. It is definitely 4 star or more in every way. Breakfast was great and the hospitality was brilliant. I will definitely be letting all my family and friends know of this place and now I finally found a place called home when I am away from mine.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location on a hill provided breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities such as ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking in the stunning scenery. The free toiletries provided were of high quality, and the kitchenette with cookware and an electric kettle was a convenient addition. The flat-screen TV offered a variety of channels, and the dining area made breakfast enjoyable.

Excellent service, very friendly staff - beautiful view!

The boutique style B&B we recently stayed at had lovely big beds and a clean modern bathroom. A delicious continental breakfast was included and the staff were quick to resolve any issues that arose during our stay. The accommodation had stunning views of the city and was located just a short drive from some great local restaurants and a shopping mall. it provided a great base for exploring the area.

While the location was convenient for our needs, we did have some difficulty with the steep slope leading up to the B&B. It may not be accessible for all guests and a car is definitely recommended.

It was so conveniently situated and u felt like you were completely away from the city, in the most tranquil beautiful garden setting with lovely rooms and service. Definitely go there again.

the bathroom lighting was very dim and not suitable for putting on yr make up, and also a lack of soap. I think a bin in the bedroom would also be a good addition and perhaps being able to draw the lace section of the curtian across without the lining attached would gv privacy without having to close the curtains completely. I personally would ask for a bed board next time as i had a bit of back ache (but this is just a health problem that a bed board would remedy). and the door opening was a bit awkward.
